Read the world.
Find your way by landmarks, maps, coordinates, and clues. Routes and preparation matter. The reward is knowing the land a little better than you did yesterday.
An original online fantasy RPG
Something ancient stirs beneath a world that has forgotten it.
Find your own way through what comes next.
Early development. A world taking shape.
Old roads. New stories.
A weathered frontier. Settlements built among the remnants of an older age. And the feeling that something has begun to wake.
Oldenwake is an original online fantasy RPG being built around discovery, freedom, and the simple pleasure of wondering what’s over the next hill.
Learn the land. Follow a rumour. Take the long way home.

A lived-in world.
A sense of somewhere.

Combat
Responsive movement comes first. We’re developing expressive casting, readable melee, and projectiles you can evade through positioning and timing.
Character
Swords, bows, spellcasting, and elemental weapons. Flexible builds and a character whose identity grows through your choices are central to the vision.
Early development
This is the beginning of Oldenwake. A small playable prototype is helping us test the foundations as the world, characters, and combat take shape.
There’s a lot left to build. We’ll show the progress, the experiments, and the occasional thing that catches fire.

Progress, with a few rough edges
The HUD has left the mood board. Characters remember their haircuts. Some trousers are still negotiating.
Grounded materials, practical clothes, and buildings that feel like someone actually lives in them.
Connected characters, a little original terrain, and a playable loop to build on. The beginning of the beginning.
Before you set out
An early look at a long journey.
Oldenwake is an original online fantasy RPG in early development. Its design centres on exploration, responsive movement, expressive combat, and flexible character builds in a world with its own identity.
A small internal prototype is being used to develop and test the foundations. You can register your interest in beta testing. Signing up does not provide an immediate download or guarantee an invitation.
Release timing will be shared as development progresses. The current focus is the playable foundation, the look and feel of the world, and a clear, responsive player experience.
The landscape and visual direction images on this website are concept artwork. They communicate the intended atmosphere and design direction; they are not gameplay screenshots or a promise of final appearance. The logo is Oldenwake’s existing branding.
